The book How to make a monument is a multi-level dialogue residing between:

– Tradition and representation.
– Ms Joke and Mr Seriousness
– Freestyle hypertext and mathematical consequence

The duality of this book is also contained in its form. On one hand, there is a flipbook–drawing animation and on the other, an inventory of Parisian monuments, poetic titles, memoirs, and the “stolen” prose. All this is to answer the title in question: How to make a monument?
